The California Commission on Teacher Credentialing sets the standards for institutions to meet in order to provide an induction program for candidates. Induction funding from the state is available during the preliminary credential holder’s first two years of teaching.  The South Bay Consortium Teacher Induction Program is a CCTC-approved Induction Program through which participating teachers demonstrate competence and extend pre-service knowledge with the guidance of an experienced teacher known as a mentor. Our Induction Program serves the new teachers of the consortium districts.
