Mission & Vision
The South Bay Consortium Induction Program's core purpose is shared in our mission statement. Our vision describes our long-term aspirations for all future teachers, mentors, students, and families that will be affected by our program.
Mission
The goal is to prepare all program candidates to teach in any California public school, and effectively implement California’s adopted standards and curricular frameworks to ensure a high-quality education for all students, regardless of race; religion; ethnicity; nationality or ancestry; physical or mental disabilities; medical conditions; parental or marital status; age; sex; gender; gender identity or expression, and/or sexual orientation.
Vision
The South Bay Consortium Teacher Induction Program’s vision is to support new teachers to build reflective habits of mind, including the examination of their own biases, to provide equitable learning opportunities for all students and, make student-centered, data-based instructional decisions so that all students can experience academic success, emotional value and overall confidence in this ever-changing world climate/culture.
